A Successful Harvest Sale
Our Women’s Fellowship would like to express this note of appreciation to all of the many volunteers, attendees and merchants that contributed to the success of our 2007 Harvest Sale, Raffle and Silent Auction.
For over 55 years this seasonal event has evolved into a very popular fundraiser for our organization. Many members, friends and merchants contributed numerous items for our various sale booths as well as for the Silent Auction and Raffle. With expert appraisals from Fredericks Design Studio, Frog and Swan’s Randy Grobe and Willie’s Gems we continued the reputation of quality items at fair prices. The Book Shelf, Vines and Stuff, Mimosa Carpet and Creative Designs & Gifts of Columbus were very gracious to make the raffle tickets available in their shops.
Proceeds from all of these successful events continue to support our benevolences. For 2007 they were The Meeting Place Food Program, Roseland Community Center, Steps to HOPE, Thermal Belt Outreach, Polk Vocational Services, Collins Dental Clinic, Hospice House Chapel, Women’s Fellowship Educational Assistance and Wider Church Ministry.
We all feel very blessed to be a part of this wonderful and compassionate church family and our Women’s Fellowship will continue to support our mission to serve as Christian Stewards.
