Each Wednesday afternoon, Lance Smith and group of volunteers travel to Polk County High and Middle schools to gather students for a service project. Together they help others, working on projects with nature preserves, assisted living centers, Harmon Field and the Red Cross and learning the joy of helping others. Students are picked up at school, provided a snack and transported to service sites around the county then returned to the Congregational Church by 6 p.m. for pick up.
