The Children’s Chimes Choir rings on 2 octaves of Malmark chimes and is open to children from grades 2 through 8.
We rehearse in 4-week ‘Sessions’ composed of 4 Tuesday afternoon rehearsals followed by a Sunday morning performance. We pick up the children from Tryon Elementary or Polk County Middle Schools and bring them back to the church for a snack. We then practice with the chimes and are ready to be picked up at the church at 4:30p.
Each child is asked to commit to full attendance at each 4-week session and must register for that session. To register or to volunteer for transportation and/or snacks(!) contact the church office.
