Hands of Change
Youth Service / Fellowship Program
The Hands of Change youth program has undergone some small changes since the first of the year. We are now meeting every Thursday, after school. Since we are serving primarily middle school aged children we have become a middle school group. We rotate each week between organizations that use our services. January found us: spending time with the Bridge Wood group home folks and to White Oak to read and talk with the folks at Benson Hall. The month of February finds us adding Fence to our growing list of service sites. Saturday, January 26th we traveled to Wolf Laurel for an afternoon of fun in the snow. We desperately need help with weekly transportation from the middle school to our service sites and back to the church. If you can help transport two or more youth on Thursday afternoons or would like to accompany us in our work projects please call Lance Smith at 859-9414 or 863-4688.
